Top Development and Financial Products

I’ve carefully curated this list to only include my most favorite products for which I will write a more granular review in it’s own post. Each product has helped me grow my app businesses and intelligently grow my wealth.
After trying thousands of “free” services or even worse, paying for ones that didn’t live up to it’s hype, I’ll show you my favorites and why they’ve made it to this list.

Best Hosting Service

Bluehost – This is the best place to start your website. Don’t go to GoDaddy to reserve your domain, only to find out that Bluehost includes your domain like I did. They’re also offering 50% off, which is cheaper than most competitors. A website is low risk with high potential earning reward, so there’s no reason to not get started. They’re also perfect for scaling as I’ve moved up to a dedicated server with them for hosting our higher traffic websites for our apps. I’ve had a great experience with their 24/7 customer support.

Best Email Service

MailerLite – I’m all about keeping things simple. I dislike anything convoluted and complicated. It helps a lot to keep things simple. MailerLite is the best at doing this. They offer a “Forever Free” plan for up to 1,000 subscribers which gives you unlimited emails. When you grow past 1K, they offer the best pricing. No competitor offers anything even close. This is the best email service to get started with since they offer so much for free and has great pricing for when you need to scale.

Best Innovative Investment Service

RealtyShares – They have the best platform for investors who want to diversify their RE portfolios. RE is anything but easy. I have 1 rental property in Los Angeles, but wanted something a little easier that allowed me to invest smaller amounts of money ($5,000 – $20,000) in multiple properties across the country. I’ve stuck with the easier and more conservative investments that still give 8.5% to 12.5% returns. It’s different than P2P lending because there’s a physical tangible asset that has value.

Best Free Wealth Management Service

Personal Capital – This is hands down the best financial tool available for managing your wealth. It’s a great tool for planning your retirement to see if you’re on track. I have my investments spread out over various retirement accounts and taxable accounts (mostly at Vanguard) and this aggregates all the data to one convenient dashboard. They run a Monte Carlo simulation and even track your spending to calculate all the numbers to plan your retirement. It’s great and its free.
